Requirements/Responsibilities:
PostgreSQL database administration
Development and setup of new PostgreSQL instances
Parameter handling in postgresql*conf
Backup, restore and recovery of Postgres (WAL-G)
Secure handling of Postgres roles/users and permissions
Operation of PostgreSQL clusters/instances and databases
Operation and handling of Docker containers
Customisation and development of Docker images (OS: Debian Linux)
Deploying Docker containers via Ansible scripts
Handling of general installation routines in Linux (RHEL, Debian)
Postgres monitoring, analysis and patching
Maintaining operating and support manuals
Dealing with GIT
Knowledge and experience with other database systems desirable (MS SQL, Sybase, DB2, Oracle)
